Warm air at the vents, ice on the lines, or a breaker that keeps tripping isn't a wait-it-out problem when Manson, NC temperatures climb. We check charge, compressor amp draw, and coil condition before recommending a fix before any part gets quoted.
Topping off refrigerant without ever finding the leak is one of the most common ways Manson homeowners get overcharged. We pull static and running pressures, check superheat and subcooling against factory spec, and use electronic detection to find the actual leak, because a properly repaired leak outlasts three top-offs.

Real detection equipment finds the source, not just a temporary patch.
The repairs behind most no-cool calls.
We locate, repair, and recharge to spec — not just refilled and sent on its way.
Hard-starting or high-amp compressors get tested before we recommend replacement.
We find why the coil froze, not just defrost it and hope.
A failing capacitor is a common cause of a dead condenser, and it's usually a same-visit fix once confirmed.
Debris on the coil drives up pressure and shortens compressor life, so we clean and inspect during the visit.
A blown fuse or tripped disconnect can present exactly like a dead compressor, so we rule these out first to avoid an unnecessary replacement.

Common questions before booking an AC repair.
The common causes are leak, compressor, or coil and we test each before quoting.
Sure, but it won't stick — refrigerant is a closed system, so if the level dropped, it went somewhere specific, and we'll say so before you pay for one.
Cooling emergencies jump the queue, usually resolved within a few hours of your call.
It won't hurt anyone, but continued operation risks the compressor, so it's worth addressing quickly.
We primarily handle central AC, and can advise on window units.
The diagnostic fee buys real testing time, and it's subtracted from your bill once you approve the fix.
